Our Veggie CSA usually runs 17 weeks, starting early to mid-June (depending on the weather) and usually running through the first week of October.  Depending on the season, we often take the week of July 4th "off" from weekly CSA deliveries - we find that this allows our crew to catch up before we launch into the main part of the summer and usually provides a nice break between the early greens and roots and the main season crops.

Your CSA share can be picked up at the Farm on Wednesdays from 4-7pm.  (Flower shares can be picked up either on Wednesdays with Veggie Shares or on Tuesdays 4-7pm during our Farm Stand.)

We have two vegetable share sizes available.

The Full Share starts a bit slower with 7-8 items in June, but quickly grows to an average of 10-12 items (plus herbs) weekly.  It is intended for a family or a couple who cook most of their meals at home and who like vegetables.  Expect a salad green weekly.  The average weekly cost is $41/wk (total cost is $700).

The Small Share contains 5-8 items throughout the season.  It is NOT a half share.  It is more appropriately sized for single people and couples who do not cook most of their meals at home.  The average weekly cost is $26/wk (total cost is $450).

One "item" is what I consider a full portion of that vegetable.  For example - a half pound to a pound of cut greens (salad mix or spinach), a full bunch of carrots or beets, 1-3 cucumbers, 2-4 zucchini, 2-3 pounds of potatoes, 1 head of broccoli (depending on size), 1 pound of cherry tomatoes, 1 cabbage, 1/2-3/4 pound of sugar snap peas, etc....  Full shares will often get more of any item than small shares (small shares would get the lower amount on the ranges listed above, for example).

We also offer a Flower Share!
Our season will run a minimum of 10 weeks but we will aim for 12 weeks whenever possible.  Start date is highly dependent on weather but is likely to be late June or early July, and run through early September.  You will receive one full bouquet a week and often a second smaller offering (sweet peas, dahlias, etc...).  Total cost is $250.

Flower pick-up will be at the farm on Tuesday afternoons during our Farmstand, or you can arrange to pick them up during CSA pickup times on Wednesdays.

What if I miss the pick-up?

If you do not show up by the time that we are ready to pack up, we will bring your share back to our walk-in cooler for safe keeping.  We can arrange for you to come by the Farm to get your share at a later time (please text to arrange a time instead of just showing up - we are busy), but if we have not heard from you 24 hours after your scheduled pick-up we will re-purpose your produce.  If you know ahead of time that you can't make it, just let us know and your share will go directly into the cooler and avoid sitting out for hours.

What if I am going to be gone for a week (or more)?

If you are going to be gone, find someone else to pick up your share for the week!  If you truly can't find someone who would enjoy your produce, let us know ahead of time so we don't harvest the vegetables and potentially waste them (though I am very good at finding homes for any surplus produce!).

Can I get a friend to pick up my share?

Yes, of course.  Just let me know!
